Romney / Ryan lead Obama / Biden in the series 2 to 0

Romney / Ryan now lead the series 2 to 0
Paul Ryan outclassed Joe Biden in last night's Vice Presidential debate.  While Biden's populism may have some appeal for "true believers" on the left, I seriously doubt that he made any inroads among undecided voters as a result of last night's debate.  Biden came across as a grumpy old man whose constant interrupting was rude and disrespectful.  Ryan thanked Biden for participitating at the debate's conclusion; Biden offered no such courtesy to his opponent.  Biden's body language was excruciatingly painful to watch.  He grimaced and made faces while Ryan was speaking.  Biden's flashing whitened teeth were quite simply hideous.

Those Hideous Teeth!
Ryan's best line of the evening was, "I think the Vice-President very well knows that sometimes the words don’t come out of your mouth the right way."

Biden even lost his cool with moderator Martha Raddatz on one occasion -- a serious debating faux pas.  Biden really did seem to be a man who was "under duress," a man who was trying too hard.

The final half hour of the debate held Ryan's strongest moments of the debate.  Ryan's closing statement (see video below), in which he "asked for the order," was masterful.  Biden continued to play the violin of class warfare attempting to portray himself as the champion of the middle class.  Biden was into fear-mongering while Ryan held out the possibility of hope.  Biden came across as a dinosaur while it was Ryan who showed youthful vigor and outlined a path FORWARD.

Importantly last night Ryan demonstrated his command of the major issues and his ability to become President should tragedy strike.  Biden, on the other hand, remains the Obama version of Spiro Agnew.

A CNN snap poll awarded the debate to Ryan by 48 to 44 for Biden.

The bottom line on the Veep debate is that Biden was rude and this will not play well in the Midwest: Wisconsin's 10 electoral votes will go to Romney /Ryan!

Let's get fiscal (see video below)!

Everything is now pointing to a Romney / Ryan victory on November 6.
